Travel Grant Opportunity: Applications are sought from students, post-doctoral researchers, faculty, and investigators at U.S. institutions for partial travel support for expenses to participate in the IPY Oslo Science Conference. Young investigators, students and members of under-represented groups are especially encouraged to apply. Travel support will also be offered to a small number of educators who are actively engaged in presenting information on polar studies in their classrooms.

Eligibility and Application: Successful applicants must present a talk or poster at the symposium and must be enrolled at or employed by a U.S. institution. Selection of applicants will be based upon relevance of research topic to conference themes.  The awards are expected to be in the $1500 to $3000 range with lesser amounts awarded to more well established applicants.
