APECS is pleased to announce its fall 2013 webinar series, highlighting a sample of the career opportunities available to graduates with degrees in the sciences. The speakers in this series represent a cross-section of the worlds of academia, government, and non-profit work. All have (or are nearing completion of) advanced degrees in the earth, physical, or biological sciences. Many have polar connections.

Each webinar will begin with a brief introduction by the speaker, who will give a broad overview of his/her own career path, the challenges and rewards, the day-to-day experience, and the reasons for choosing this particular focus. After this introduction, a period of discussion will begin, in which audience members can ask questions of the speaker. APECS looks forward to your participation!

Each webinar will last approximately one hour and will be broadcast online using the GoToWebinar platform. The webinars will begin at different time during the day - check the times below, and use the World Clock to convert the webinar times to your timezone.

To join a webinar or register in advance, you can simply click the "Register or Join the Webinar" link below for the selected webinar. By registering in advance you will recieve detailed instructions and email reminders about the webinar.
