6th Canadian Conference on Permafrost
         12-16 September 2010
         Calgary, Alberta, Canada

 The Canadian National Committee for the International Permafrost
 Association (CNC-IPA) is organizing the 6th Canadian Conference on
 Permafrost (CanCOP6) in conjunction with the 63rd Canadian  
 Geotechnical Conference from 12-16 September 2010 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

 Permafrost sessions include:

         - Mackenzie Delta and Coastal Dynamics
         - Climate Change and Permafrost
        - Sumps and Contaminants in Permafrost
         - Periglacial Processes
         - Permafrost Geophysics
         - Slope Stability
         - Permafrost and Glaciers
         - Frozen Core Dams and Mining
         - Infrastructure
         - General Permafrost Science

 Abstracts (maximum 400 words) should be submitted by Saturday, 16
 January 2010 using the online system on the GEO2010 website:
 http://www.geo2010.ca/abstract-submission.php?lang=en.

 Invitations for the submission of full papers will be sent by  
 Friday, 26
 February 2010.
