The 5th Sediment Budgets in Cold Environments (SEDIBUD) workshop will be held in the town of Saudarkrokur, North Iceland, 19-25 September 2010 in connection with the Natural Research Centre of Northwestern Iceland.
The theme of the workshop, built on previous SEDIBUD workshops, is "Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis of Sedimentary Fluxes and Budgets in Changing Cold Climate Environments: Field-Based Approaches and Monitoring." The workshop will provide interesting discussions during the two-day scientific meeting and during the extended field excursions (three days).
Organizers request that expressions of interest from anyone who would like to attend the workshop be sent to:

The motivation letter should state the research advancement, the relevance of the research within the SEDIBUD framework (and if the research is performed on one or more SEDIBUD Key Test Site), and the funding possibilities from other sources. The deadline to apply for the reduced rate is Monday, 10 May 2010.
