Jokkmokk Winter Conference (1-4 feb, 2010) is an annual International Climate Forum at the Arctic Circle
for Students, Early Career Professionals, Decision Makers and Opinion Builders.
Main issues in the 2010 conference are:
• Which impacts will the next international Climate Treaty, to be decided in
December 2009 in Copenhagen, have on future development in the North?
• How does climate change influence the traditional life style of Indigenous Peoples?
• What are the impacts of a warmer Arctic and an ice-free Arctic Ocean on exploring
(energy) resources and on prospects for a renewable energy future in the North?
