So you are still wondering what you can do to get involved with APECS that won't take up too much of your time, but will give you practical career skills and give you the chance to meet other young researchers and senior mentors. One of the main 'activites' that APECS does is hosting mentor panels at conferences where early career polar researchers will be. These panels are quite simple to organize and allow you to invite some of those senior folks that you have always wanted to meet but didn't know how to approach them. APECS is growing as an organization thanks to the energy, excitement and talent of our members!
