The National Centre for Atmospheric Science Graduate Summer School in Atmospheric Measurement a two week field course is aimed at atmospheric science PhD students entering their first or second year of research, it is also possible for a supervisor to secure a place for a first year student in advance of their PhD start date.

NERC funded PhD students are subsidized to attend this course, and there are a limited amount of full and partial bursaries for non-NERC students.
