One of the best ways for people to learn about your research is by sharing it with other people – both within the research community and the general public. We often do this by giving oral presentations or presenting posters at conferences, in classrooms, or other venues. Poster presentations offer an excellent way to communicate your research with other researchers and also with the members of the general public, to develop new ideas, and also to meet new collaborators – not to mention the great way to re-energize ourselves when we are feeling a bit unsure and looking for some feedback. Generally poster sessions at conferences are far too short and we do not get enough time to discuss our research with enough people and get their feedback. Our aim is to keep those discussions going by interacting with more people about our research and also about our ideas so that we can improve our science and our understanding of the Polar Regions.
The APECS Virtual Poster Session is thanks in part to the generous sponsorship of the Nordic Council of Ministers.
