APECS is an active and fast-growing organisation that provides resources, support and networking opportunities for young polar researchers. The development of new events and activities has been made possible by passionate APECS members who ceaselessly contribute ideas and time to the organisation. This, in turn, gives members the opportunity to network amongst peers and more senior colleagues and gain experience in science outreach and event coordination, which are all fantastic career-building activities in themselves.
