Working Groups
apecs_members_workinghttp://www.apecs.is/administrator/index.php?option=com_categories&section=com_content&task=edit&cid[]=137&type=contentWorking on projects and ideas together, is the main way APECS works toward shaping the future of polar research.  Ideas such as the Virtual Poster Session, the APECS Mentorship Programme, the Literature Discussion Forum and the many workshops and panel discussion we have - all started with a few talented people working together with a specific aim - to help each other and to create a better way to conduct polar research and to help others learn about it.

APECS Working Groups are how new ideas become reality.

Find out more about out current working groups and our past working groups that have now wrapped up their projects, or become part a large group.

Below you can find updates and notices about some of things that are happening in the different working groups.

Launching the APECS Working Group Programme
All of the things APECS has done has been through group work and activity. We have now created a way to better keep track of all the things that are happening. This will help all of you who want to get more involved in APECS but don't yet know how to find out what is happening already and contact the people in charge of those things to see if you can help them. We hope that this wil not only help showcase the great projects, but to give you an idea of some of the great APECS members who are helping to shape the future of polar research.
