 elled fieldwork? Missing your daily procrastination fika by the coffee mach
 ine? Overloaded with Zoom calls and conferences (and currently reading this
  thinking, oh no, not another one?!)? Polar research has looked very differ
 ent over the last year as we grapple with life under a global pandemic.</p>
 <p>We'd like to invite you to reflect on the challenges of the year, both t
 he good and the bad. We will be joined by two researchers who are going to 
 be talking about their experiences during Covid-19, followed by group discu
 ssions. This hasn't been the easiest year for anybody, but for everything t
 hat hasn't gone as planned, people have been creatively adapting and proble
 m solving, to keep research running. We hope you will take the chance to jo
 in us as we look back on this year, and forward to what 2021 will bring (ho
