 iplomacy in the Biden Administration</em>. This webinar will take place Mon
 day, <strong>22 February 2021</strong> from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. EST.</p><p><s
 trong>Webinar description:</strong></p><p>With climate as a central organiz
 ing principle of the new Biden Administration’s global approach, U.S.-Arcti
 c science, policy, and diplomacy are expected to take on increasing importa
 nce. As the poles warm, complex and intersecting issues of climate change, 
 natural resource development, Arctic Ocean governance, Arctic Council coope
 ration, Indigenous Peoples’ rights, and U.S.-Russia security become central
  to U.S.-global interests. This panel of experts will discuss the many oppo
 rtunities and challenges facing the Biden administration as it formulates a
  new U.S.-Arctic strategy that highlights Alaska and our global responsibil
 ities as an Arctic nation.</p><p><strong>Panelists will include:</strong></
 p><ul><li>Mark Brzezinski - U.S. Ambassador to Sweden (ret.), former Execut
 ive Director of the White House Arctic Executive Steering Committee and cur
 rently principal of Brzezinski Strategies;</li><li>Melody B. Burkins - Asso
 ciate Director, Dickey Center, Adjunct Professor of Environmental Studies,
