DESCRIPTION:On behalf of the Global Water Futures program and its national and internat
 ional partners including the United Nations University Institute for Water,
  Environment and Health, we wish to invite you to participate as we broadca
 st a special World Water Day celebration from Canmore, Canada. The theme fo
 r World Water Day 2021 is Valuing Water: What Water Means to You. We have m
 odified that theme slightly to focus on Valuing Mountain Water in a global 
 context.\nThis one-and-a-half-hour webinar is scheduled to begin at 11:00 A
 M Mountain Daylight Time on Monday, March 22nd and will be broadcast by zoo
 m around the world.\nThe moderator of the webinar will be Bob Sandford, Glo
 bal Water Futures Chair in Water &amp; Climate Security at the United Natio
 ns University Institute for Water, Environment. Following a welcome by Canm
 ore Mayor John Borrowman, presenters will include Parliamentary Secretary T
 erry Duguid on the creation of a new Canada Water Agency; Dr. John Pomeroy,
  Director of Global Water Futures; glaciologist Caroline Aubry-Wake; U of C
  Professor and former Director of the Water Survey of Canada Alain Pietroni
 ro; Louise Arnal, Postdoctoral Fellow, Centre for Hydrology, Canmore; clima
