The Association of Polar Early Career Scientists (APECS), the Internatio nal PhD School, and the Læra Institute for Circumpolar Education are organi zing a workshop on 18 June 2021 at the Internation al Congress of Arctic Social Sciences (ICASS X), titled “P olar Early Career Scholars: Ensuring the Continuity of Intergenerational Kn owledge”.
In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to
learn about the future of Arctic-focused education, from primary education
to innovative STEM fieldwork, multimedia studies to traditional on-the-lan
d programs. We welcome a distinguished group of panelists to share their cu
tting edge knowledge of how diverse educators, elders, youth, researchers,
and early career scientists can work together to preserve and advance holis
tic and valuable understandings of the Arctic, its people, and nature.
