The organizing committee invites abstracts for the 3rd International Conference on “Polar Climate and Environmenta l Change in the Last Millennium.” This hybrid conference will take pla ce 30 August - 1 September 2021 online and in Toruń, Polan d.
The aim of the conference is to prese nt scientific achievements and to identify gaps in the field of the histori cal climatology of the polar regions based on early meteorological observat ions, history, dendroclimatology, paleolimnology, geophysics, geomorphology , and other sources.
According to the ne ed for protection attendees, the organizing committee has changed the venue to the large hall located in the Nicolaus Copernicus University campus. All safety procedures preventing SARS-CoV-2 infections will be preserved and align with the Nicolaus Copernicus University internal safet y policies.
The committee has al so proposed new deadline dates for registration and submitting abstracts. B oth deadlines are now 31 July 2021. However, registration and abstract subm ission deadline for financial support is Sunday, 20 June 2 021.
