 d in Toruń, Poland.\nThe aim of the conference is to present scientific ach
 ievements and to identify gaps in the field of the historical climatology o
 f the polar regions based on early meteorological observations, history, de
 ndroclimatology, paleolimnology, geophysics, geomorphology, and other sourc
 es.\nAccording to the need for protection attendees, the organizing committ
 ee has changed the venue to the large hall located in the Nicolaus Copernic
 us University campus (https://polarclimate2020.umk.pl/pages/venue/). All sa
 fety procedures preventing SARS-CoV-2 infections will be preserved and alig
 n with the Nicolaus Copernicus University internal safety policies.\nThe co
 mmittee has also proposed new deadline dates for registration and submittin
 g abstracts. Both deadlines are now 31 July 2021. However, registration and
