on Team (SICT) meeting on Aug 2, 1-2pm ET.
The SICT b
rings together scientists from federal, state, academic, NGO, industry, ind
igenous and international organizations to share their work and team up to
enhance understanding and improve predictions of the changing Arctic sea ic
e cover. The goal of the August 2 meeting is to learn about recent achievem
ents of the International Arctic Buoy Programme and its collaborative effor
ts in improving our observational capacity of Arctic sea ice and its integr
ation of science with education and outreach.
The meeting will end with updates from the community. We invite all m eeting attendees to share announcements, recent findings (published or unpu blished), ideas for collaboration, requests for future meetings, and other items that you may wish to share or ask.
