The popular science storytelling event Ignite @AGU is back and in person at this year’s 2021 AGU Fall Meeting! Sponso red by NASA’s Earth Science Division and held in partnership with the Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP), Ignit e@AGU enables scientists to showcase their professional and personal in terests through creative 5-minute talks.
Submissions are due Monday, November 1st. Up to ten talks will be selected and we encourage individuals at any career stag e to submit! Check out the 2019 and 2020 Ig nite@AGU talks for inspiration.
Ignite will be held on December 16th at an outdoor , covered venue and will follow all local COVID-1 9 guidance. Following AGU Fall Meeting covid guidance, you must be fully vaccinated to attend.
For those attending virtually, no fear, we will hold an Ignite ‘watch party’ of the live event in January 20 22 with all of our speakers available for live chat.
