 ty input, in the form of brief statements, that will help guide discussions
  during the AOS Thematic Working Group sessions. The theme for this hybrid 
 Summit, convening 30 March - 1 April 2022, in Tromsø, Norway and online is 
 “Arctic observing at the intersection of health, understanding, and resilie
 nce”.\nThe Arctic Observing Summit is a biennial summit that aims to provid
 e community-driven guidance for the design, implementation, coordination, a
 nd sustained operation of an international network of Arctic observing syst
 ems. The AOS provides a platform to address urgent and broadly recognized n
 eeds of Arctic observing across all components of the Arctic system.\nThe <
 a href="https://www.assw.info/programme/aos2022" target="_blank" rel="noope
 ner">2022 Arctic Observing Summit</a> will focus on how sustained observati
 ons can contribute to the improved well-being of Arctic residents, and a be
 tter understanding of rapid Arctic change to build resilience and inform re
 sponses from the local to the global scale. The AOS will explore specific a
 ctions to help advance the Sustaining Arctic Observing Networks (SAON) Road
 map for Arctic Observing and Data Systems (ROADS) (https://arcticobservings

 9.pdf), as supported by the Third Arctic Science Ministerial in May 2021.\n
 Community input can highlight important data, management, or logistical nee
 ds or gaps, explore emerging opportunities, address a current challenge, pr
 esent new initiatives or technology that can contribute to Arctic observing
  (including community-led, regional, national, or global programs), or revi
 ew on-going observing activities or issues that are relevant for the develo
 pment, application, operation, or support of a sustained Arctic observing n
 etwork.\nShort statements should link to the theme identified for AOS 2022 
 but other topics relevant to the working groups that have been established 
 for AOS 2022 are welcome, including:\n\n - Regional to Global Observing\n -
  Food Security\n - Data Sharing\n - System Integration\n - Utility and Bene
