 :\nAnnouncements\nAfter receiving some fantastic feedback to the questionna
 ire, we have settled on dates/times for the conference based on community f
 eedback. The conference will be held virtually on February 23-25, 2022 from
  11am-3pm EST (8 am- 12 pm PST; 4 pm- 8 pm GMT). We plan to host a recap se
 ssion on Monday, February 28th (11 am-3 pm EST;8 am- 12 pm PST; 4 pm- 8 pm 
 GMT) to follow up on takeaways from the conference. We look forward to seei

 /prstconference/)\nConference Grant - eligible expenses \nThis ‘travel’ gra
 nt provides financial assistance for attendees of this virtual conference a
 nd is eligible for U.S.-based participants (Excluding participants from the
  University of Maine). A grant up to $600 USD will be allocated to reimburs
 e costs associated with attending this conference for 15 participants or mo
 re, depending on need. Eligible costs include purchasing or renting equipme
 nt (WiFi, laptop, microphones, headphones, software, etc.), transportation 
 costs to access technology, housing to access technology, dependent/child c
 are, unpaid leave/lost wages as well as other associated costs. Upon partic
 ipation in the conference and a brief report with expense budget, the grant
  will be disbursed to those awarded. \nEvaluation criteria \nWe are followi
 ng the format of the American Geophysical Union’s (AGU) student travel gran
 ts (https://www.agu.org/Learn-and-Develop/Learn/Travel-Research-Grants/Fall
 -Meeting-General-STG) to award attendees for the upcoming conference. Grant
 s will be awarded based on the following: applicants from underrepresented 
 backgrounds in the Earth and Climate sciences (https://nsf.gov/statistics/w
 omen/), applicants who demonstrate financial need, and early-career applica
 nts. Applicants who move through the first round of selection will then be 
 reviewed with the following criteria: \nRelevance of radar within your rese
 arch or field of study \nhighly relevant - specifically using radar technol
 ogy/data \nrelevant - relying on partial datasets \nmoderately relevant - r
 elating other observations to radar technology/data \nnot relevant - no rel
 evant links observed in application\nCareer stage (prioritizing underrepres
 ented early career vs. mid to later stage career)\nPotential for broader im
 pacts, post-conference (interactions with other community members after the
