DESCRIPTION:The Geoscience Society of Iceland invites you to attend the 35th Nordic Geo
 logical Winter Meeting. The meeting will take place from 11th to 13th May 2
 022 on the campus of the University of Iceland in Reykjavík. On the confere

 e components that we hope you will find of your interest.\nRegistration and
  abstract submission are open until the 1st of March 2022. \n\nField excurs
 ions are planned before and after the meeting. We cannot promise a live eru
 ption, but we will have a field excursion to the 2021 Fagradalsfjall erupti
 on site on the Reykjanes Peninsula on 10th May. Three additional field excu
 rsions are also planned after the conference on 14th May. Additional inform
