 f the Winter School is Our Connection with a Fast-Changing Arctic, and will
  take place 16-20 January 2023 in Groningen, the Netherlands.\nHosted by th
 e Arctic Centre, the Winter School is aimed at (inter-) national civil serv
 ants and policy makers, politicians, managers, financial experts, (young) a
 cademics, and PhD students who are looking for a nuanced and wide-ranging u
 nderstanding of the Arctic.\nDuring the week, lectures, discussions, and gr
 oup work will take place in which topics related to the theme will be addre
 ssed from an integrated perspective on a sustainable society.\nGeneral topi
 cs addressed in the lectures will include:\n\n - Climate Change: climate fo
 rcing gasses, Arctic amplification, ice caps and sea level rise, polar vort
 ex, and mitigation and adaptation;\n - Arctic Ecosystems: sea ice as platfo
