Join us 14–16 Oct 2025 for the Virtual Workshop: Ocean Connectiv ity & Exchange Across the Antarctic Peninsula

Sponsored by the SOOS WAPSA RWG

The Antarctic Peninsula is a critical region of ocean exchange along the Antarctic coast, where the cold Weddell Sea and t he warm Bellingshausen Sea meet. In this 3-day virtual workshop on “Ocean C onnectivity and Exchange Across the Antarctic Peninsula: Processes and Impa cts”, we will discuss the physical drivers modulating the ocean circulation and along-shore exchange in the region and their potential impact on bioge ochemical processes.

The workshop will be held on October 14-16, 2025 . We will hold three 2.5-hour sessions timed to span as many time zones as possible. Invited talks will be followed by short lighting presentations an d discussions.
