 rkshop is to stimulate discussion on similarities between porous ice media 
 (snow and firn, sea ice, soil, rocks, building, food, etc.) and on challeng
 es that x-ray cryo-tomography of ice media involves.\nAbstract submission d
 eadline: 20 May 2017.\nThe workshop will include a visit to the Norwegian U
 niversity for Science and Technology, Institute for Civil and Environmental
  Engineering ice lab facilities and the Norwegian Centre for X-ray Diffract
 ion, Scattering and Imaging.\nNumerical modelling contributions related to 
 3D imaging of porous ice media are also welcome.\nThe workshop is limited t
 o 20-25 participants with most participants expected to give a 20- to 30-mi
 nute presentation. Limited travel support is available.\nAbstract submissio
 ns must include:\n- Title and a short abstract (100 words),\n- Arrival and 
 departure information and whether discounted lodging is requested; and\n- A
