DESCRIPTION:The first Swiss Polar Day event will take place on 7th of September at WSL 
 in Birmensdorf, Zurich. Every polar scientist or polar-interested person ca
 n participate and early careers are very much welcome! Especially because i
 t's an APECS Switzerland event. The program and registration can be found h

 s future plans, research direction and/or expeditions. The second half will
  be a round table/discussion on the future of polar research in Switzerland
