 s, but different processes are relevant for the Polar regions. A significan
 t improvement in our ability to model the Arctic will only be achieved by i
 mproving the representation of processes such as coupling between atmospher
 e and ocean or the surface energy budget. This webinar will focus on ‘Enhan
 ced weather and climate models’, one of five science work packages of the E
 U-funded APPLICATE project which brings together a European consortium of s
 cientists from different disciplines to advance our capability to predict t
