 h Conference (SPARC) (http://sparc-brno.webnode.cz/) will be held in Brno, 
 Czech Republic, between 16th and 18th April 2018.\nDepartment of Geography 
 at the Faculty of Science, Masaryk University will host the fourth year of 
 the conference. The last meeting showed the connection of Polar and Alpine 
 regions in the field of geo- and bio-sciences as beneficial for all partici
 pants. Therefore, we decided to follow this trend and connect both geograph
 ical areas again. We hope you will discover a lot of interesting topics, id
