Since the arrival of ST RUCTURE (Pritchard et al. 2000), biologists have been using Bayesian cluste ring algorithms to discover population genetic structure. This webinar will discuss several popular freely-available packages (STRUCTURE, BAPS, struct urama, others?) with a focus on understanding the algorithms underlying the packages. The presentation will be as non-technical as possible, and advan tages and disadvantages of the different packages will be discussed.
