DESCRIPTION:<p>The Norwegian Polar Institute and the Research Council of Norway invite 
 you to the second Seminar on Research in and about the Antarctic, a follow-
 up of the seminar held in 2016.</p><p>The seminar is primarily targeted tow
 ards researchers in Norway and Norwegian agencies, authorities and decision
 -makers with interests or responsibilities relating to Antarctica.</p><p>Th
 e seminar is intended to provide:</p><ul><li>a meeting place for new and es
 tablished Antarctic researchers in Norway across all scientific fields (nat
 ure, history, political science, etc.);</li><li>an arena for disseminating 
 information about ongoing and recently concluded research projects related 
 to the Antarctic;</li><li>an arena for providing information about the fram
 ework for Norwegian Antarctic research;</li><li>a think-tank to develop new
  ideas and strategies in connection with interdisciplinary Antarctic resear
 ch.</li></ul><p>The focus of the seminar will be on disseminating recent fi
 ndings from ongoing research projects, presentations of new projects and ta
 rgeted discussions on selected strategic research topics in addition to pro
 viding information about available research tools.</p><p><a href="https://f
