 <p>Organizers invite abstract submissions and registration for the 10th Cir
 cumpolar Agriculture Conference. This conference will convene 13-15 March 2
 019 in Rovaniemi, Finland.</p><p>The theme of this year’s conference is <em
 >New Thinking about Local Agriculture in the Circumpolar Arctic - Best Prac
 tices, Innovations, and Perspectives</em>. This conference will address agr
 iculture, food production, and rural development in the northern areas, as 
 well as the quality of Arctic foods, local profitability, and business oppo
 rtunities. The conference will include discussions on the versatile meaning
 s of circumpolar agriculture and the related challenges and opportunities. 
 The importance of food security and sustainability in differing regions and
  countries will also be discussed.</p><p>Sessions will examine best practic
 es and solutions in the utilization of animal and plant resources, local br
 eeds, reindeer herding, small-scale farming, and non-timber forest products
