DESCRIPTION:<p>The European Commission, the European External Action Service, and the G
 overnment of Sweden will jointly organize a high-level EU Arctic Forum.&nbs
 p;High Representative/Vice President Federica Mogherini, Commissioner Karme
 nu Vella, and the Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs Margot Wallström wil
 l host the event.&nbsp;The EU Arctic Forum will bring together key Arctic p
 layers and stakeholders to assess recent developments in the region and to 
 discuss the new challenges ahead.&nbsp;The EU Arctic Forum will include sev
 eral keynote addresses and two high-level panel sessions on the morning of 
 3 October. Foreign ministers from EU member states as well as the Arctic Co
 uncil will be invited to participate.&nbsp;Arctic Stakeholder panel session
 s will take place in the afternoon of 3 October. The Annual Arctic Indigeno
 us Peoples’ Dialogue with interactive panel discussions will be held on 4 O
 ctober.</p>
