 (http://www.smcm.edu/democracy/) will be held on July 17 and 18, 2019 at th
 e Ronald Reagan Building Amphitheater.\nThis two-day event will feature exp
 erts speaking on Arctic marine operations, ocean and environmental issues, 
 science, policy, law, and governance. Participants will learn about the imp
 acts of an ice-diminishing Arctic Ocean on marine transportation, resource 
 development, scientific research, federal, state, local, and international 
 operations, and policy implications in the rapidly evolving Arctic. The sym
