DESCRIPTION:<p>This autumn, SIOS will offer a training course on how to effectively use
  satellite data, tools and software in the context of marine research in Sv
 albard. The course is intended for researchers, PhD students and technician
 s with no or little experience with satellite remote sensing techniques. Th
 e training will be delivered by marine remote sensing experts from SIOS mem
 ber institutions.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Time: 2-5 September 2019 (starting Mon
 day morning, ending Thursday at lunch time)<br />Location: Longyearbyen, Sv
 albard<br />Who can apply? In this second round, non-SIOS members can also 
 apply</p><p>Applicants will be assessed continuously until all places are f
 illed!</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>This training course is free of charge.</p><p>&nb
