 rom 1:00 - 2:00 pm ET (9 am AKT). The theme of the meeting is Arctic Sea Ic
 e Thickness: It's All about Perspective.\nDeveloping methods to accurately 
 evaluate and communicate sea ice thickness is important for a wide range of
  applications, from the sustainability and safety of local communities to b
 asin-wide predictions of sea ice conditions. Join us to learn more about th
 e newest satellite-based observations being collected from ICESat-2 (presen
 ted by Sinead Farrell, U. Maryland) and a new sea ice notification framewor
 k being developed for coastal communities (Nathan Kettle, IARC). Participat
 e in a series of discussions aimed at building stronger connections between
  the observing, modeling, and user communities.\nThe meeting will begin wit
 h updates from the community. We invite all meeting attendees to share anno
 uncements, recent findings (published or unpublished), ideas for collaborat
 ion, requests for future meetings, or anything that you wish to share or as
