DESCRIPTION:<p>Participants are invited for the&nbsp;<strong>Third Canadian Polar Data 
 Workshop (CPDW3)</strong>,<strong>&nbsp;</strong>a follow-up to previous Ca
 nada&nbsp;wide consultations held in 2015 and 2017.&nbsp;</p><p>The worksho
 p will be structured to reach specific outcomes through working group sessi
 ons and consensus building on themes such as the need for a national data m
 anagement strategy for Canada, data discovery and federated search, all asp
 ects of data interoperability, and other themes related to polar data broad
 ly defined, including knowledge transfer and Indigenous data policies.</p><
 p>The workshop will also include a hackathon to advance technical aspects o
 f polar data management in Canada. All members of the Canadian polar data a
 nd research community are invited to participate. Members of the broader da
 ta community are also welcome to attend. Additional details on expanded the
 me descriptions and registration details will be provided in the coming mon
 ths.</p><p>The workshop will be hosted through partnership between the Cana
 dian Consortium for Arctic Data Interoperability, Canadian Cryospheric Info
 rmation Network/Polar Data Catalogue (CCIN/PDC), Polar Knowledge Canada, an
 d numerous other organizations.</p><p><strong style="color: inherit; font-f
