DESCRIPTION:We are happy to announce that the 34th Forum for Research into Ice Shelf Pr
 ocesses (FRISP) will take place, in the form of a virtual workshop. We are 
 very excited to try out this new format, and hope you are too! For details 
 on the agenda, registration (without fee) and submitting your abstract see 
 the FRISP 2020 website (https://eveeno.com/virtualfrisp2020). Registration 
 and abstract submission closes on 31 May 2020. We will send out a detailed 
 schedule and information on the online format soon thereafter. \n \nWe plan
  four sessions (each session will last about 3 hours) on the following date
 s:\n     16.06 (Tuesday),  2pm CET\n     17.06 (Wednesday),  8am CET\n     
 24.06 (Wednesday),  5pm CET\n     25.06 (Thursday),  10am CET\n \n The plan
  is to host these meetings at alternating times during the week so that we 
 can accommodate as many people as possible, given different time zones etc.
  \n \n For those of you who have already registered and booked accommodatio
 n at the Döllnsee, your registration fee has been refunded - if any issues

 ch related to ice shelves, and their interactions with the ice sheet, ocean
 , and atmosphere. It is an Expert Group of the <a href="https://www.scar.or

 g/">Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR)</a>, and has organise

  FRISP is an appropriate meeting to present work in progress and discuss em
 erging research ideas, and is well-suited to early career researchers as we
