DESCRIPTION:<p>This 5-day workshop at the Arctic Data Center will provide researchers w
 ith an overview of best data management practices, data science tools, and 
 concrete steps and methods for more easily documenting and uploading their 
 data to the Arctic Data Center.</p><p>The Arctic Data Center provides train
 ing in data science and data management, as these are critical skills for t
 he stewardship of the data, software, and other research products that are 
 preserved in the Arctic Data Center. The major goals of the Arctic Data Cen
 ter are to advance data archiving and promote reproducible science and data
  reuse.</p><p>Space for this workshop is limited. Both early career and est
 ablished researchers from the Arctic research community are encouraged to a
 pply.&nbsp;</p><p>Participants will receive support to cover the cost of an
  economy round trip airfare within the contiguous United States. Course par
 ticipants will also be provided with accommodation in Santa Barbara for the
  duration of the course.&nbsp;</p><p>The deadline for applications is&nbsp;
