al University named after M.V. Lomonosov is pleased to announce the International Forum of Young Scientists 2022.
This y
ear the Forum welcomes PhD, Master and Bachelor students and is held under
the auspices of the Russia’s Chairmanship at the Arctic Council 2021-2023 a
nd aligns with its priority areas: Arctic people, including indigenous peop
les of the North; environmental protection and climate change issues; socio
-economic development of the region and strengthening the Arctic Council.
The participants will have an opportunity to broaden their know
ledge about the Arctic Region in various scientific fields, learn about the
large-scale industrial and environmental Arctic projects, participate in d
iscussions addressing the following topics related to the
key challenges of the Arctic Region development and exploration:
The highlight of the Forum re
mains NArFU annual International PhD School which serves a
platform for young researchers to share their knowledge with the leading R
ussian and foreign scientists, high-officials, project managers and practit
ioners about the current global and local Arctic agenda. The PhD School wil
l be held online (Zoom platform) and include lectures, discussion panels an
d students’ presentation sessions. The working language is English.

br /> Master and Bachelor students are invited for an off-line session in A
rkhangelsk. The working language is Russian.
Applicati
on for PhD School: PhD students and early-career researchers from
the HEIs of Arctic and non-Arctic countries are asked to fill in the application form
indicating a topic of their research project and attaching its abstract to
the form.

articipation; transcript of records upon request).
