Further application criteria:
- Active participation in the conference by giving either an oral or poster presentation (in either the POLAR2018 Open Science Conference or the Arctic Oserving Summit 2018). Please note that the Arctic Observing Summit 2018 is still accepting poster abstracts until 1 March 2018)
- Our different funding sources have different criteria and requirements for the funding and so please make sure to complete the application form below as fully as possible. Several of the questions are designed so we know which funding source(s) you qualify for. Should other funding sources become available with additional requirements, we will announce this and give applicants who have already submitted the opportunity to update their application form.
These travel awards will only be able to cover part of your travel costs and the costs will be reimbursed after the meeting based on receipts that you provide (unfortunately, upfront payment is not possible). It is not possible for us to cover your entire expenses. All applicants are strongly encouraged to apply for other funding sources.
Application deadline for the Travel Awards will be on 28 February 2018 at 23:59 GMT. Late applications will not be considered. No exceptions will be made.
