Association of Polar Early Career Scientists

sooslogo2cThe co-chairs and committee of the West Antarctic Peninsula and Scotia Arc (WAPSA) regional working group are looking for ocean scientists who have experience and interest in working in the Scotia Arc and Drake Passage region of the Southern Ocean.

The aim of the WAPSA regional working group is to work towards the delivery of coordinated and, where possible, standardised observations of essential physical, chemical and biological variables in the West Antarctic Peninsula and Scotia Arc region of the Southern Ocean in support of SOOS objectives. The group aims to facilitate scientific discussion to allow for leveraged research.

We are looking for new and enthusiastic members of the group to help with horizon scanning activities in the Scotia Arc and Drake Passage sub-region, and we are particularly keen to hear from you if you are interested in joining the committee.

If you would like to join this community, please, fill out this form and select the WAPSA group to be notified of our activities and updates.
