Organizers invite abstracts for poster and an oral presentations for the Greenland Science Week. The theme of the conference will be Connecting Science and Communities, and will convene 1-5 December 2019 in Nuuk, Greenland. Greenland Science Week builds bridges between science and the Greenlandic society, business community, and government, and creates a networking and cooperation platform for the Greenlandic and international science community around research in the Arctic. The event welcomes participants from a wide range of fields.

Greenland Science Week is a multidisciplinary science conference and organizers welcome presentations within any research field as long as it relates to this year’s theme and the research was conducted in or about Greenland and/or the Arctic.

Abstracts should include how the research and presentation relates to this year’s theme and should be no more than 350 words.

The abstract body must be structured with the following:

When submitting an abstract, submitter should indicate whether they are prepared to give an oral presentation based on the abstract. The organizing committee will select several abstracts for short 10-minute oral presentations during the “Research for You” Day. Oral presentations should be presented in Greenlandic, English, or Danish. Indicate the preferred presentation language, should the abstract be selected for an oral presentation.

All poster presentations must be submitted, in PDF format, and presented in English, however it is strongly encouraged to have the text part of the material translated to Greenlandic and Danish for the poster session.
