Framed by the overarching theme for the Science Conference “The Arctic: Regional Changes, Global Impacts”, Lisbon invites International experts on the Arctic and Indigenous Peoples to discuss the “New Arctic” and also its impacts and interactions to and with the lower latitudes at ASSW2021 Online.


ASSW2021 Registration now open

Registration for ASSW2021 has now opened: https://assw2021.pt/#registrations

Registration will provide access to the Online Business and Community meetings, Online Science Conference or both. Reduced rates are offered to Early Career Researchers (ECR) and Indigenous participants. Early Career Researchers are all students and scholars who are at the undergraduate, graduate or post-graduate level (depending on national context) up to 5 years post-PhD.
Please note: If you applied for IASC support, please do not register before you receive the registration code

ASSW2021 Registration fee support

The International Arctic Science Committee (IASC) is pleased to announce the availability of registration fee support for the online Arctic Science Summit Week 2021 (19 - 26 March 2021)

Please submit your application by no later than 22 February 2021 via this form.

Registration fee support via this process is currently available for:

who are actively participating in the conference including but not limited to giving a presentation in the Science Symposium or organizing / participating in an Arctic science community or business meeting (e.g. as a panelist, workshop organizer, rapporteurs). [Read more]
