You can now play the Greenland world via www.iceflowsgame.com or download the app via the App Store & Google Play Store.  There is also information & videos on the science behind the game on the website.

Ice Flows puts you in charge of climate, and tasks you to get your ice sheet to be the appropriate size, in order to get your game character to its dinner.

There is also a bonus level where you have to get your ducks in a row to travel through the hydrological system. I can only apologise to any biologists / ecologists for what I have done in representing the ecosystem – sorry in advance!

**Important** There is a button on the Options on the Main Menu to “Start at Greenland” – this is effectively a teacher unlock so you don’t have to work through the Antarctic levels in order to get to Greenland. This is meant specifically for Greenland outreach work…

The game was funded via a NERC grant led by Amber Leeson at Lancaster University, with Co-Is Ian Hewitt (Oxford), Dan Goldberg & Noel Gourmelen (Edinburgh), there is more info on the website about this project. The game was developed by Inhouse Visuals & Questionable Quality.
