We would like to make you aware of the unique opportunity to participate in the Winter school on Atmosphere-Ocean-Sea Ice Interaction Processes that will take place at UNIS in Longyearbyen on Svalbard 6-11 February 2022. (Application deadline 21 November 2021)

The winter school will provide an overview of state-of-the-art theoretical paradigms, observation techniques, and modelling frameworks, as well as forecasting capabilities for atmosphere-ocean-sea ice interactions. Participants will also be introduced to newly obtained data from recent field campaigns (e.g., MOSAiC, IGP).

Through plenary lectures, poster presentations, and extended discussions, participants will be exposed to fundamentals and cutting edge research in the field as well as given the opportunity to build a community network for their future careers.
