The application deadline for the upcoming QuIESCENT Arctic workshop (Quantifying the Indirect Effect: from Sources to Climate Effects of Natural and Transported aerosol in the Arctic) has been extended to Friday 14th December (midnight GMT).
The QuIESCENT Arctic workshop will take place on 4-5 April 2019 at the British Antarctic Survey (Cambridge, UK), bringing together aerosol and cloud scientists to identify the key outstanding challenges in understanding and quantifying Arctic aerosol-cloud interactions, with a focus on how Arctic air pollution affects clouds in the region.
We welcome contributions from scientists using observational (remote sensing, in-situ, satellite) or modelling (from process to global modelling) techniques to study Arctic aerosol-cloud interactions.
Applicants are encouraged to present what they already know from their area of expertise, what they'd like to find out, and the problems they face in retrieving this information.
