Bio: Boris Radosavljevic is a coastal geologist with experience in field research, as well as website and data management. From 1 January 2021, Boris supports the APECS International Directorate as a project officer in the EU Horizon 2020 project ARICE (Arctic Research Icebreaker Consortium) to organize an online training for technicians, young professionals and early career researchers.
Boris has extensive field experience as coastal geologist in Florida, Texas and the Canadian Beaufort Sea. Beyond that, in 2018 he worked as a web site manager for the European Climate Research Alliance (ECRA) and the WP4: Data Management of the Horizon2020 funded International Network for Terrestrial Research and Monitoring in the Arctic (INTERACT). He developed information material as a research data curator at the data repository GFZ Data Services 2018-2020. He served on the Permafrost Young Reserachers Network (PYRN) executive council 2014-2016. In 2016, he co-organized Coastal Permafrost in Transition meeting at the International Conference on Permafrost including the overhaul of the Arctic Coastal Dynamics website. As a young researcher, he was also involved with the Circum-Arctic Coastal Communities KnOwledge Network (CACCON) in 2014.
Boris is happy to support the APECS International Directorate with technical know-how and great interest in organizing technical training in the EU Horizon 2020 project ARICE (Arctic Research Icebreaker Consortium).
