The Northern Scientific Training Program is sponsoring four scholarships, valued at $10,000 each, for Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada who are identified as long-term residents* of Nunavut, Northwest Territories, Yukon, or the Provincial North, and are currently enrolled in a masters or doctoral level program at a Canadian university.*A “long-term resident” is identified as a person who has resided in the north for eight years or more.
