Graduate Programmes

Andine Glaciology and Hydroclimatology is a research team at the Argentine Institute of Glaciology, Snow Studies and Environmental Sciences (IANIGLA). Their objectives are to understand the interaction between climate, topography, glaciers, rivers and natural environment in southern Andes of South America. Main tasks focuses in distribution, dynamics, mass balance and hydrological contribution from glaciers, in combination with atmospheric processes that control temperature and precipitation patterns in southern Andean mountain range.
