The Department of Earth, Environmental and Planetary Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Climate Systems. We welcome applications from geoscientists who employ field, analytical, observational, modeling, or a combination of these approaches to understand how components of Earth’s climate system work, interact and evolve.
Research could focus on processes or records, from the recent to the deeper geological past.
The successful candidate is expected to establish a vibrant, externally funded research program, mentor graduate and undergraduate students in research, and teach both introductory and upper- level courses. They will be committed to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion in the department and university, and willing to engage in academic service at various levels.
