The Computer Vision and Remote Sensing Laboratory (Bina Lab) at Lehigh University has an open position for a Postdoctoral Fellow position in Physics-informed Machine Learning for polar ice dynamics and reducing uncertainty in sea-level rise prediction.
The successful candidate will join an active research team led by Dr. Rahnemoonfar and be expected to play a leading role in developing Physics-informed Machine Learning algorithms for polar ice dynamics and reducing uncertainty in sea-level rise prediction.
The qualified candidate should either have extensive research experience with deep learning and at least a basic knowledge of physics and Navier Stokes equations or a background in polar science and advanced data analysis. Research experience in high-performance computing and developing parallel applications is highly desirable.
